Privacy Policy

OBH Invites is the scheduling app and website for the OBH adult hockey league, run by Falcon83 (“we”). This policy covers the OBH Invites app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, and this website, test-invites.falcon83.com. It explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.

The short version: we collect what the league needs to run skates. We don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or sites, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Account: your name, username, email address and password (stored encrypted, never readable by us).
• Optional contact details: your phone number and mobile carrier, and whether you want text-message notifications.
• Player details: your role (skater or goalie), join year and skill self-assessment.
• What you post: messages and photos on the message boards and skate chats, direct messages, reactions and poll answers.

Information created as you use OBH Invites

• Your RSVPs, waitlist spots, attendance and payment check-ins, team assignments, and Beer Guy / Whiskey Guy history.
• Skill ratings that league directors give players, used to balance teams. Only directors see ratings.

Technical information

• Device tokens that let us send push notifications, the skate-day Lock Screen card, and keep your Apple Watch up to date.
• Activity log: when important actions happen (for example an RSVP change), with the IP address and browser or app version, to keep the league's records accurate and secure.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos you haven't chosen to post, health data, or advertising identifiers.

2. How we use it

• To run skates: invitations, RSVPs, rosters, waitlists, teams and reminders.
• To send you notifications you've allowed — push notifications, email, and text messages if you opted in.
• To let you talk with your skate group on the message boards.
• To keep accounts secure and the league's records accurate.

3. Who can see it

• Other players in your skate groups see your name, your RSVP for skates you're both invited to, your team, and what you post.
• League directors also see your contact details, attendance and payment history, and skill ratings, to run the league.
• Nothing about you is public on the internet.

4. Services we use

We run OBH Invites on our own server. To deliver notifications and messages we use:

• Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications and the Lock Screen card to your devices.
• Our email provider to send invitations, verification and password-reset emails.
• Your mobile carrier's email-to-text gateway, only if you turn on text messages.

These services only receive what's needed to deliver the message.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is active. League history (past skates, attendance and rosters) is kept so the league's records stay accurate — if you delete your account, that history no longer identifies you (see below).

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on the website (test-invites.falcon83.com/account/delete/). When you do:

• Deleted: your login, name, username, email, phone number, ratings, device tokens, everything you posted (messages, photos, direct messages, reactions) and your upcoming invitations and waitlist spots.
• Kept, but no longer linked to you: past skates you attended and their payment and Beer / Whiskey Guy records, shown as “Former player” so rosters and totals stay correct.

You can also email OBHInvites@gmail.com and we'll do it for you.

7. Children

OBH Invites is for adult league members. It isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

8. Security

Connections to OBH Invites are encrypted, passwords are stored hashed, and only league directors and administrators can see league-management information.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
